Hi, i need more information to answer you, what happened to the ROP and what about the SPP are there any changes or they are the same ? The problem could be: - Bit dullness or even lost cone - you lost your BHA or a part of your drill string - you penetrate a cave or soft formation (drilling break) ????
your suggestion is right .This is happen in one well due to sudden loss of three cone of the bit. After that the drill string is pull out and one fishing basket is lowered and recovered the teeth.
