i need some advices to characterization fo my c7+ sample of natural gas

If you have a component C7+, I recommend that to perform an extended chromatographic analysis to your natural gas sample up to C9 or C12, depending the depth you would like to characterize.
Then, based on that extended analysis, you may take the percentage distribution for future analysis up to C7+.
You can also code it as hypo components in proII or hysys

if a laboratory analysis is available then all the components with significant amount should be taken into account as heavy components (C8, C9, C10 etc.) have a large influence in dew points etc. a in-line GC tipically returns the composition for C1-C6 and a fraction C6+ for heavy components, results from laboratory analysis can be used to extend the GC, see for example
