Installation runs OK, BUT it needs a license to be run.

Hi asrakal, thanks for the links. I downloaded the license file from the 2nd link but it does not work. The messages say :

1. The desired vendor daemon is down (-97,121:2"")(MATBAL)
2. An EPS security device could not be found - please check and try again. Error Code : 54-105.
3. The application can not be started. A valid user license can not be found.

Any body has some ideas to resolve ? Thanks.

It works.
- Choose stand alone installation
- Run it. When it asks for lic. point to the lic.dat file.

Thanks Yengineer. I had followed your guidance but still had the same problem. I did not find stand alone option during the installation. Many attempts done but no luck so far.

Try this

Go to registry
Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FlexLm License Manager
Make a new string value called EPSLMGR_LICENSE_FILE

then enter the address where you locate the license, eg
C:\Program Files\EPS\MatBal2\license.dat

See if it works

It's not going to work if you are running X64

Thanks asrakal and Yengineer, apparently that there was an unknown problem with my previous machine. The application worked well on the other machine. Thank you to both of you for the advises.
